About Us

My name is Phil. I am English, married to Na with two children, and have lived in Siem Reap since January 2004. My friend Harry, who has lived in Siem Reap since January 2006, and myself have both done quite a lot of travelling around Cambodia and South East Asia. Based on our own experiences, and through meeting many visitors every day in our work, we have gained a lot of knowledge about the region and especially Siem Reap. People often ask us for advice, so we decided that it would be a good idea to share our knowledge on a website and make it available to people before they even arrive in Cambodia. We know from our own experiences, how much time it can take planning a trip, so we thought it would be great if there was a website about Siem Reap full of local and, perhaps more importantly, up-to-date information.

Oh, I should also mention my brother Ian, who manages this website for me. He currently lives in the UK, but he is a regular worldwide traveller and has also been to Siem Reap a few times himself.

Although Harry and I are based in Siem Reap, we will also soon be providing information about Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Battambang and Kampot.
