After living in Siem Reap for 6 years, and having managed a hotel, run a guesthouse, reviewed many hotels and guesthouses, we think we have finally found the perfect place for most visitors to Siem Reap. The guesthouse has 11 immaculately clean rooms, friendly staff, great travel information and Angkor tours. It has a great location, free Internet, free WIFI and free pick up service.
	My Home Villa Check rates & availability My Home Villa is a new guesthouse. It is quite well located within easy walking distance of the Old Market. They have A/C and fan rooms with private bathroom, hot shower and cable TV. The rooms are very well decorated and the service is superior to most places in the same price range so rooms are slightly under priced. Free internet is available as is free WIFI. Services include laundry service, tour service, bicycle rental, massage service, restaurant and car parking.
	The Siem Reap Hostel Check rates & availability The Siem Reap Hostel is real good old fashioned backpackers place with dorm rooms and private rooms. All the rooms are air conditioned with the dorm beds going for US$8 without TV or you can take a private room with cable TV for US$30 which can sleep up to 3 persons. The Hostel is well located and is in easy walking distance of the Old Market and Pub Street. They have a nice swimming pool and poolside area to relax and chill out for a few beers and something to eat.
	Mandalay Inn Check rates & availability The Mandalay Inn is very well located and is only a short walk to the Old market area. This place is very popular with travelers due to its location and also due to it been a long running business. Most rooms are a reasonable size with private bathroom, hot showers and cable t.v. If you choose to stay here, then ask to be on one of the lower floors as there a number of flights of stairs. There is free WIFI in the reception and dining areas and also free internet in the main office.
	Golden Temple Villa Check rates & availability The Golden Temple Villa is very popular with its good location, good service and it been pretty good value for money. Most of the rooms are quite small but the decoration in the rooms makes up for the lack of space. All the rooms are A/C with private bathroom, hot shower, cable t.v and free wifi. Breakfast is not included in the room price but you do get free bananas, free coffee, free bicycle hire and use of free internet. On arrival you get a free welcome drink with a free 20 minute body massage.
	I Lodge Guesthouse Check rates & availability The I Lodge Guesthouse is a small family run 8 room guesthouse located near the Central market. The location is very good as it is not from the centre of town plus there are many shops and markets nearby. The rooms are very clean with private bathroom, A/C, hot shower and cable t.v. The rooms and the bathrooms were a little on the small side but overall not a bad place to stay. The let down is that there is no restaurant or eating area but there are number of places to eat nearby. There is WIFI and internet in the reception area.
	Le Tigre de Papier Residence Check rates & availability The Le Tigre de Papier Residence is located around 500 metres from the Old market area. There have nice rooms with A/C, private bathroom, hot shower and cable t.v. There have a nice swimming pool which is very refreshing after a day at the Angkor Temples. This is very popular place, and you can see why with its friendly staff, nice atmosphere and relaxing poolside area. WIFI available. The Le Tigre de Papier Residence is also the same owner as the Le Tigre restaurant which serves great food.
	Jasmine Lodge Check rates & availability The Jasmine lodge is Khmer run guesthouse which is very popular with many budget travellers. They have a good choice of clean A/C and fan rooms which include breakfast with the room rate. They have a good restaurant with bar and pool table to relax in the evenings. Jasmine Lodge is around a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the Old Market area. The owners are very informative about trips to the Angkor temples and other attractions in the surrounding area. WIFI and internet available.
	Bou Savy Guesthouse Check rates & availability The Bou Savy is a Khmer family run guesthouse which has good A/C and fan rooms. The A/C rooms are good value for money with private bathroom, hot shower, cable TV and fridge in the room which includes a choice of breakfast in with the room rate. The fan rooms are also good value and also include breakfast in with the room rate. They also have a restaurant and some nice communal areas to relax. Transport to the Angkor Temples can be arranged. Internet is available.
	Babel Guesthouse Check rates & availability The Western managed Babel guesthouse is located in the Wat Bo village area which is a short tuk tuk drive away from the Old market and Pub Street area. The rooms are plain but spacious with private bathrooms, hot shower, bathtub, cable t.v. and fridges in most of the rooms. Wifi is available by buying credit from the reception, and free internet is available in reception area. There is a nice garden and restaurant to relax with a drink and some food. Homemade Pasta and Italian sauces are a speciality.
	Ta Som Guesthouse Check rates & availability A Khmer run guesthouse which is quite well managed. They have spacious fan and A/C rooms with private bathroom and hot shower. The A/C rooms are very good value with TV, hot shower and fridge with a choice of breakfast included in the room rate. The fan rooms also include a choice of breakfast which makes them really good value for money if you are traveling on a budget. The guesthouse is a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to Old Market area. Free internet is also available.
	Mom’s Guesthouse Check rates & availability Moms Guesthouse is quite well located in the Wat Bo Village area. The rooms are spacious, clean and are very well looked after by the Khmer owners. They have A/C and fan rooms all which include a continental breakfast in with the room rate. If you are looking for a triple room then this place would be a good option as they have good value for money triple rooms. There are number of shops, restaurants and ATMs in the area. WIFI and internet is available on the premises.
	Two Dragons Guesthouse Check rates & availability The Two Dragons is run and managed by Gordon who also runs the Tales of Asia information website, so it is a great place to find true and honest information. The guesthouse is located in the popular Wat Bo Village area. The rooms are clean and well presented all with private bathroom and hot shower. They have a bar and a nice restaurant with Thai, Khmer and Western food. Free tea & coffee for anyone staying in the guesthouse. Free WIFI is also available.
	Bun Kao Guesthouse Check rates & availability The Bun Kao Guesthouse is located in the Wat Bo village area and is around 1.5km from the Old market area. The guesthouse is pretty new and the rooms are quite nicely decorated with all the rooms having a private bathroom, hot shower and cable t.v. Air conditioned rooms or fan rooms are available and the price for the rooms are reasonable. There is free Wifi and internet in the reception area. If location is not a problem to you, then the Bun Kao guesthouse would not be a bad a choice.
	Happy Guesthouse Check rates & availability The Happy Guesthouse is a nice guesthouse located in the Wat Bo village area around 1.5km from the Old market area. There is an old building and a new building, the old building has cheap rooms but I would not stay in them but the rooms in the new building were pretty good value. The staff are friendly enough and helpful. There is a restaurant area at the front of the old building. If you are not bothered about location then this place is not a bad choice but better places nearer the town centre.
	Palm Garden Lodge Check rates & availability The Palm Garden Lodge is a 20 room hostel which is located near Siem Reaps night market and it is around 500 metres from the Old market area. The staff are nice and friendly which is probably what makes this hostel a very popular place to stay for visitors to Siem Reap. There have both A/C and fan rooms but the rooms are a bit worn and were showing their age, especially the bathrooms. There is a nice little restaurant at the front serving a variety of dishes, Free WIFI and Internet is available.
	Shining Angkor Check rates & availability The Shining Angkor Hotel is a newly built family owned boutique accommodation in Siem Reap. Located in a quiet residential area with easy access to Siem Reap International Airport, shops, restaurants and the hustle & bustle of Siem Reap town centre, and the magnificent Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples, Shining Angkor Hotel is a beautiful 21-room boutique hotel with nicely decorated rooms. If you are going to stay here then I would pick a deluxe room with a balcony. Free WIFI and Internet.
	Siem Reap Riverside Check rates & availability The Siem Reap Riverside guesthouse is located along the Siem Reap River and is around 1km from the Old market area and Pub Street. There have both A/C and fan rooms available, the rooms are quite spacious all with private bathrooms, hot shower and cable t.v. There is free WIFI in the reception area. Overall the guesthouse is not a bad place to stay but you can get a lot of hassle from the many tuk tuk drivers hanging around outside the property looking for business.
	Khmer Inn Angkor Check rates & availability The Khmer Inn Angkor is nice little Khmer family run guesthouse with only 12 rooms. The rooms are nicely decorated and they all have private bathroom, hot shower and cable. t.v. All the rooms have a communal balcony outside the door, although there is nothing much to look at other than the other guests. The guesthouse is very friendly place though, so it would not be a bad choice. The guesthouse is located in the Taphul village area which has a few shops and restaurants nearby and it is around 1.5 km to the Old market.
	European Guesthouse Check rates & availability The European guesthouse is located in the Wat Bo village area of Siem Reap which is a pretty good location and is around a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the centre of town. The guesthouse has two floors with the ground floor built from brick and the upper floor from wood which is typical Khmer style. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have free WIFI, free internet and a free pool table in their bar restaurant area. There is a nice balcony on the top floor with some nice views.
	Five Star Angkor Villa Check rates & availability The Five Star Angkor Villa is located around 300m from the Old Market area and is a Khmer run guesthouse. The villa has 12 rooms all with private bathroom. The rooms are clean and tidy with both A/C and fan rooms available. There is a nice restaurant and bar serving Western and Khmer food. Free WIFI and internet is available.
	Angkor Spirit Check rates & availability Angkor Spirit Hotel is located around 1.5km from the Old market area. The hotel sits on a large piece of land which makes it a nice quiet place to stay. The rooms are nicely decorated with all rooms having a/c, private bathroom, hot shower and cable t.v. The best thing about this hotel is the poolside area, it has very swimming pool and it makes it a great place to chill out at any time of day. This would be a good choice if you want a place with a swimming pool but want to keep away from the tour groups.
	Golden Mango Inn Check rates & availability The Golden Mango Inn is a really nice Khmer family-run guesthouse which is friendly and relaxing. There are 24 private rooms which are available as either fan rooms or A/C rooms. All of the rooms have a private bathroom, hot shower and cable t.v. The Golden Mango Inn gets raving reviews on many travel websites and they are mostly justified but unfortunately we have to list it to the bottom of list, due to its poor location which is around 2.5km from the Old market and Pub Street area.
